     More than 35 years ago, The Berkeley Artists Guild was established to bring together artists and patrons of the arts. The purpose of the Guild is to give a group of creative people support for self-improvement, for public recognition, and for the betterment of art in the community.

     Open to South Carolina residents 18 years of age or older, the Berkeley Artists Guild meets on the first Wednesday of each month, October through May at 6:30 p.m. in Pinopolis, South Carolina. The Guild sponsors several art exhibitions throughout the year including the Old Santee Canal Fine Arts Exhibition which is open to all artists living in the state of South Carolina.

     Each Berkeley Artists Guild meeting is a learning experience through a fine arts demonstration conducted by local and visiting artists in diverse mediums followed with a short business meeting.

        Because of the COVID virus, members and guests are asked to bring their own drink and snacks if they wish.  Dues for the year are $25 cash or by check written to the Berkeley Artists Guild.
